Scot Sandstrom – President & Founder
Scot has more than 20 years of experience in the homebuilding industry and is the President and Founder of NPC. In 2010, Scot was named “Entrepreneur of the Year” by the San Diego North Chamber of Commerce for his excellent achievement as a visionary business leader in the community. More about Scot
Tyler Sandstrom – Project Manager
Tyler Sandstrom joined NPC in early November 2009 and named "2011 Rookie of the Year" by the BIA-SD. As Project Manager, he is responsible for purchasing and contracting with all vendors and consultants. More about Tyler
Scott Jones - Construction Manager
Scott Jones joined NPC as Construction Manager in 2008, backed with more than 20 years of experience in the homebuilding industry. In 2011, Scott was named “Superintendant of the Year” by the BIA-SD In his role, Scott oversees the building and construction of all NPC projects. More about Scott
Kim Sandstrom – VP, Accounting & Finance
Kim Sandstrom joined NPC in 2007. She oversees all of NPC’s finances including loan draws, invoice payments, cash flow management and bank coordination. Kim is committed to making sure NPC meets its financial obligations to vendors and investors.
Kari Shea and Mark Shea – Brokers, Shea Real Estate
Kari and Mark Shea of Shea Real Estate handle all purchases and sales of NPC’s homes. More about Kari and Mark
Debbie Dorsee - The Dorsee Company
Debbie Dorsee, of The Dorsee Company, works with the NPC team as a consultant to raise private investments, and continues to work on investor relations, community relations, public relations and business development. More about Debbie

New Pointe Communities, Inc. (NPC) is a thriving real estate development and building firm based in the Rancho Bernardo region of San Diego.
Founded in 2007, NPC has developed a solid reputation for integrity and superior customer service, led by industry leader and company founder, Scot Sandstrom.
Although NPC’s original plan was to offer land development, the company quickly changed its course in October 2007 after the Witch Creek fires destroyed more than 1,000 homes across San Diego County. By buying the empty lots from fire survivors who could not or did not want to rebuild, NPC started with the goal of rebuilding 16 homes in 6 neighborhoods. To date, NPC’s entities have invested millions of dollars in capital to rebuild within the Rancho Bernardo Community, which has led to the creation of thousands of construction jobs among companies throughout San Diego County.
NPC is committed to building new hope and new opportunities through its leadership, industry expertise and resources to make a substantial impact for years to come. Today, NPC continues to build new homes in a variety of San Diego communities including Rancho Bernardo, Poway, Cardiff-by-the-Sea, Oceanside and Carlsbad.
